Leg Press Machine: In this exercise, the person uses their legs to push weight away from them. The machine used for this exercise, which can be used to evaluate the overall strength of an athlete's lower body (from the knee joint, hip, and partially ankle), is also referred to as a "leg press." Leg press machines come in two primary varieties: 1. Leg press machines that are inclined or vertical and have iron weights in the shape of discs fastened straight to the sled, which is fastened to the bars. The player uses their feet to propel the sled upward while seated beneath it. Typically, these devices have movable safety arcs to keep the player from getting trapped beneath the weights.
